Pictured

Scarborough

Armed with only my Sony Ericcson K750i phone, I went to North Yorkshire last week intent on showing that this phone could take some decent pictures. Resigned to the fact that it just aint got a patch on a DSLR, I looked for the odd shot here and there, hoping to get lucky.
Thanks to my newly aquirred version of Photoshop CS2 (obtained legally, of course…. ;)) I’ve managed to spruce up the pictures and they’re all available to see on my fotopic gallery.

I’ve been won over

No need for any fancy humourous names, no play on words of well established firms (SFC, AFC…) this place got straight to the point.

Yummy

Sadly, I didn’t stick around to put their claim to the test, but with a name like that, I’m sure the chicken is lovely. ;)

Obligatory Football Post

Just to please the viewers of this blog, of which I now know there are a few more than I thought, here’s a post about something other than cereal or the weather.

Mick McCarthy is named Wolves boss.

Obviously, Wolves looked to his fine record at both domestic and international level before deciding to appoint him. I can’t see Mick offering Wolves anything different to Hoddle. Both of those managers think they’re better than they actually are - and both will and have struggled with expectations at Molineux.

They should’ve gone down the Nottingham Forest path and appointed a young manager. (just whatever you do, don’t mention David Platt…. :()

They’re gonna taste shite

This Frosties kid, doesn’t sound too convinced about liking Frosties does he? Not “They taste great”, it’s “They’re gonna taste great”. Are we to assume he hasn’t tried them?

I bet the annoying bastard doesn’t even like Frosties, and instead eats Shreddies. He’d certainly go up in my estimation if he did. 8)

Hard Boiled

The temperatures scaled the dizzy heights today, with the papers ignoring any crisis out in the Middle East to report on how animals are coping with the heat at Twycross Zoo. Nice to see the most important issues of the day are being covered… ;)
