Forever Punned

Nottingham Forest sign Junior Agogo today. And newspapers rejoice as they have a new name to pun upon. After using the ‘Forest fire’ headline to death, they now have poor old Junior’s last name to use in many a headline for years to come. ;)

That is, of course, we are to assume that he’ll score goals. He could just turn out to be another Neil Harris, Scott Dobie etc… I hope for every Forest fan’s sake that he isn’t! :o

D-lightful?!

Went to Jessops yesterday to see how my D50 pictures look like when they’ve been developed. Sadly, I made the mistake of getting them developed the instant way, when it probably would’ve been in my interest to get them done in their lab on a next day basis. The pictures are acceptable, but I certainly wouldn’t bother doing it that way again.

I didn’t find out until Friday, but if i’d have worked today I’d have got double time and a half for my troubles. That works out at about £18 an hour! Sadly, and inevitably, you have to inform Royal Mail 2 or 3 weeks in advance if you want to work Bank Holiday, as it fills up extra quick. Somehow I don’t think I’ll be working the next bank holidays… :D

Nottingham Forest are still top (and will remain there until at least Saturday! Yay!) and look set to bring this long and drawn out Junior Agogo transfer saga to an end. To be fair though, it’s been Bristol Rovers that have drawn this out longer than it need be. Colin Calderwood said himself that he’s looking to resurrect talks tommorow.

Dizzy Heights

Forest draw 1-1 at Huddersfield, but this point takes them to the top of League One thanks to Port Vale’s defeat against Yeovil.

I know it doesn’t mean much in these early stages of the season but it’s still great to see. And hopefully signs of better things to come for all the put upon Forest fans out there!

Jumpers for Goalposts

I was rubbish at Project Gotham Racing, so had to console myself with Burnout Revenge. Other than that, I ended up sleeping on the sofa, due to a ‘lodger’ sleeping in Jim’s spare room. Arses!

Photo’s can be found here.

Xbollox 360

Off to Jim’s tonight to play Project Gotham Racing on his xbox 360. Everybody that I know is waiting a month or two until the PS3 comes out, so oppurtunities to play this infernal machine have been few and far between.

Tis my Dad’s birthday tommorow, and to make up for both me and my brother forgetting Father’s Day (!), we’re taking him for dinner at Sinatra’s in Nottingham next week. Plus I’ve also got him a present or three. :D
